The Grace School is owned and operated by parents just like yourself, who just want the best early childhood experience for their child at an affordable price. The Grace School is owned and operated by Amy and Mark Simmons and named after our oldest daughter, Savannah Grace who was three years old when we made this dream a reality in 2003. Since opening, all three of our children; Savannah, Noah and Levi have grown up here. We are a family environment that respects your own family values and traditions. Our teachers respect every child and family for what they bring to our classroom environment. Our curriculum, Experience Early Leaning and Creative Curriculum is a play-based curriculum that teaches children early learning concepts of language, math, science, cognitive development, social emotional skills, cognitive development and self-help skills.
Creating a unique environment for children to play, learn and grow was a passion of mine long before we had our own children. It was during my years in college at Western Carolina University that I began to imagine the perfect early childhood environment that incorporated all the best concepts of the early education philosophies of Reggio Emilia and Maria Montessori, along with family and community involvement to address the development of the Whole Child.
The Grace School offers our families a child focused learning environment that encourages each child to be independent learners, allowing each child to develop skills at their own pace. We appreciate the uniqueness of every child and family and we are here to help guide them through the most important years of development.
We take pride in being a small family-owned business offering a more personal touch that large chains simply cannot offer, after all there is nothing more personal than your child's education.
We are a family at The Grace School. We grew up in this community, and we understand the importance of building roots and establishing lasting relationships. Nothing brings me more joy than when a child who comes back to visit after graduating high school or college and says that they still remember their days at The Grace School. We strive to make those connections and make a difference every day.
